Hi,
I'm sitting here with a perfect Negroni in front me, sipping on it as I look out the window on Monday evening. Its a beautiful thing, the Negroni. The balance of bitter, sweet and strong. It's pretty simple – three equal parts gin, Campari and Vermouth, light up some orange peel oil, rub the rim of the glass. It's simple but so much greater than the sum of it's parts. There's some magic that happens when it all comes together.
It's autumn too. The leaves are falling, the temperature has dropped. The sun is shy now as the night lingers longer.
It's cozy. Makes me want to eat delicious things, drink wine and share deep chats with big hearts.
So let's do that.
There are two events locked in. The first is is coming up soon, it's on Sunday 1st June at Banora Point just across the Qld/NSW border. This one has been swirling for some time now and I can't wait to share it with you. The theme is: Grandma's Hands.
The other event will be in Melbourne on Thursday 5th June. The theme for this one is: Greater Than the Sum of Our Parts.
Both events will be small and intimate, both limited to 10 guests.
I'll send out links with more information and links to book over the next couple of days but wanted to give you a heads up first. If you're keen and want to reserve a spot, just let me know via return email and I'll send you a link to book a day before I make it public.
Thank you for your interest in joining me for these conversations, they are sacred.
If you're curious to know what they're all about, check out this video for an insight.
Cheers,
Mikey
Would have loved to join on the 5th but it’s the old man’s birthday and considering he’s still with us I simply must hang around for a celebration with him, a whiskey for sure. Next time a Negroni shared with friends and strangers, for certain!
