A Night of Courageous Conversations returns
Let's eat food, drink wine and share stories – love stories...
Hello,
You’re invited to A Night of Courageous Conversations.
I’m hosting these events in the face of everything that’s happening now. Amidst and amongst these changing times, uncertain times, uncomfortable times, collapse times, transition and transformation times, times when we seem to be running out of time…
In times like this I tend to toggle to dark mode and lock myself away. That doesn’t end well. Or I can be around people and talk it out, feel it out and share the experience. Every time I do, I’m better for it. We’re better for it. We need each other now, our community is more important than ever. Don’t worry, nobody has it figured out either but we can lean on each other and lean into it, together.
So let’s gather. Let’s eat and drink and tell stories. Let’s tell a new story, a different story. A more honest story. A hopeful story. A love story.
A while back I launched ‘A Series of Extraordinary Events’. We had a day of deep connection with our equine teachers and then there was a dinner in Brisbane where we talked about death, dying and grief. It was a lot more enjoyable that it sounds, in fact the feedback from this was that it it was profound and life affirming. See some pics below.

Now, we’re bringing ‘A Night of Courageous Conversations’ to Melbourne. It’s not your average dinner party. This is a co-created experience where you’re the audience, the author and the storyteller. This is for anyone who desires to find some magic amongst the mayhem, for big hearts and open minds.
The working title for this event is, ‘Once Upon a Time…’ It’s evolving and coalescing in it’s own way in it’s own time, I’m just the facilitator for it and for your experience.
You are invited to come and share your story, not the one you’ve been telling, but a new one. What might that be? We’ll explore the threads that connect us and discover aspects of ourselves through each other and the magic of storytelling.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday 14th February, you’ll get access to them on Thursday 13th February - I’ll send you an email at 9am on the 13th.
There are only 10 seats at this table, they will sell out and I want you to be there. If you’ve read this far and are super keen (you’re my kinda people!) just respond to this email and let me know and I’ll make sure you’ve got a seat.
All the details you need – venue, logistics, time, cost and how to prepare (this is not your average dinner, remember) will be in the email on Thursday 13th so keep an eye out for it.
With love,
Mikey
P.S. The next Men’s Circle opens on Tuesday 18th February. If you’re a man or you know one, who might benefit from becoming part of a community where we support, challenge and connect with ourselves and each other deeply, the details and registrations are here.
